Go back to the Candidate/Student Success Center.

Follow these steps if you're attending a virtual event:

  1. Download the Career Fair Plus mobile app (iOS or Android) or visit app.careerfairplus.com

  2. Find your organization/school and navigate to your fair

  3. Browse and filter the employer list

  4. Favorite your employers of interest

  5. Once the Booking Window opens, book 1-on-1 or group meetings with employers (more about Meetings)

    • You will need a Career Fair Plus account to do so (video)

    • Your profile is what recruiters see when you book a meeting with them, so be sure to complete it and upload a resume

  6. Join the video meetings on the day (more info)

  7. Optional interaction: You can also use Resume Drop to express interest in employers, if your fair offers it

Booking Meetings

What is it?

1-on-1 meetings lets you book a specific time to meet virtually with recruiters during the event. Group meetings allow you to join a group meeting with recruiters at periods throughout the event, This might include info-sessions, Q&As, networking sessions and more.

How do I use it?

On the web, 1-on-1 and group schedules are shown directly on the employer profile page. On the mobile app, you'll see a View Meetings button instead, which you can click to see all schedules. Once you find a schedule, just book an available meeting time. Don't forget, 1-on-1 meetings are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis, so if there is an employer you want to meet with, don't wait to book a meeting with them!

Please note you won't be able to book simultaneous 1-on-1 meetings.

Join Video Meetings

The day before the virtual event, log into your account via the app or the web portal to view your booked meetings and check the interaction type for each of your meetings.

If the interaction type says CF Plus Video Room, test that your video and microphone are working before the event by clicking Join Meeting from one of your scheduled meetings. You may need to grant permissions if it is the first time you are using the platform.

If you have issues, please contact support@careerfairplus.com

Check out our article to learn more about the controls available in the video room.

If the interaction type is not a CF Plus Video Room, don't forget to check any instructions for candidates, so you know what to expect.

NOTE: You will receive an email the day before the fair with reminders about your upcoming meetings. If any changes are made from the time of that email, the platform will have the most up-to-date information.

Resume Drop

What is it?

Resume Drop lets you express interest in employers by digitally sharing your profile and resume. You can use Resume Drop before, during, or even after the event, and recruiters may choose to engage with you pre-event.

How do I use it?

If your event supports Resume Drop, you'll see the Resume Drop button on each employer's profile. Simply click it to share your resume, and you're done.

Good luck for your virtual career fair!
