The Tips/Career Fair 101/Recruiter Info section is one of the most flexible sections in Career Fair Plus. You can use it to provide a number of different types of resources to your users including:

  1. Existing Webpages (i.e. Pages on your site, blogs you like, etc.)

  2. Videos (any video hosted on Youtube, Vimeo, etc.)

  3. PDFs

  4. Custom Tips (these are simple web pages that you create on Career Fair Plus)

Each fair in Career Fair Plus comes stocked with 3 tips that you can use as is, modify, or remove. When you modify tips for one fair, we will default to copying those for tips for fairs in the following seasons.

How To Get Started

  1. Open up my.careerfairplus.com and navigate to the fair details page of the fair you want to modify.

  2. Click on the Tips Tab

  3. Choose either to modify an existing tip or create a new one.

Modifying An Existing Tip

  1. Click the pencil Icon to the left of the tip you wish to modify. The system will open an editor where you can change text and formatting of the tip to suit your needs.

  2. When you are done with your changes, click "FINISH" in the top right of the editor and then "SAVE CHANGES" in the top right of the fair details page.

Some notes on editing tips.

  1. The editor can be a little finicky, so if you have trouble getting the format to be what you desire, just reach out to us and we will help out.

  2. If you want to change/add an image, please reach out to us as we will need to store that image somewhere first.

Adding a PDF

  1. Click the "NEW" button on the Tips Tab.

  2. Choose the "Upload PDF" tab in the dialog

  3. Upload your PDF

  4. Click FINISH

  5. Click SAVE CHANGES

Adding an Existing Web Resource

  1. Click the "NEW" button on the Tips Tab.

  2. Choose the "Existing Web Page" tab in the dialog

  3. Input the url for your web resource

  4. Click FINISH

  5. Click SAVE CHANGES

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
