Career Fair Plus allows recruiters the flexibility to create customized schedules based on their availability.
At the same time, the system prevents candidates from accidentally double-booking themselves, or scheduling back-to-back meetings, to allow them time to transition from one meeting to the next.
*Note that Group Meetings are exempt from this rule.
However, as the fair organizer, if you would like to create a "speed-networking" experience between recruiters and candidates at your event, without the minimal buffer of 10 minutes between meetings, we can suggest a workaround.
You can provide the below instructions to your recruiters to explain how to set up the schedules.
First, navigate to your schedule and click on View Appointments:

3. You can then block off every other time slot:
For example, if meeting times are 15 minutes, a candidate will be able to book a meeting for the 9:00 AM - 9:15 AM slot, and another for the 9:30 AM - 9:45 AM time slot, and so on.
The alternate blocked time slots mean that both recruiters and candidates will have a break during that time, of 15 minutes, so everyone switches at the same time.
If you want to have 20 minute meeting times, we recommend sticking to the schedule set-up above, and letting the minutes run for 20 minutes instead, therefore informally extending the meeting time. In that case, when the meeting ends at 9:20 AM, there will be a 10 minute buffer time before the next meeting at 9:30 AM.
When doing this, the Fair Organizer will need to communicate to the recruiter that the meeting time can run longer than the scheduled time. The recruiter will also need to inform the candidate and ensure the meeting ends at 20 minutes.
This will allow candidates and recruiters to have a virtual "speed-networking" experience along with the flexibility of longer meetings.
