Announcements can be key to marketing your event to both candidates and employers. They are used specifically to announce particular happenings of the fair.

Examples of announcements include:

  • "Scheduling Window now open - Register with Employers Today"
  • "Fair Day is Here - Don't Forget to Logon"
  • "Join us for a Q&A session about Fair Day"

These are just a few of the multitude of possibilities you can use announcements for.

Keep in mind that users have to navigate to the announcements section in the application in order to view them. If you want to send candidates a push notification instead, which they will receive on their devices without having the application open, please see this article.

To set up an announcement, go to your fair dashboard and select 'Announcements' and then 'NEW'.

You can then enter the title of your announcement, along with the audience and whether or not you want to post it at a later date.

Once you finish, press the 'Save Changes' button on the top right corner of your dashboard.
